Ana Fischel was born in London in 1970.
She spent many happy holidays with her great aunty Cis who lived in a house called Raventhorpe, which was run as a private school.
She studied at Bassingbourn Village College (Bassingbourn, Hertfordshire), Long Road College (Cambridge) and CCAT (Cambridge).
After that she won a place at Edinburgh College of Art where she gained a 2:1 in illustration and filmmaking.
She then moved to Paris to work as an artist for a year before moving back to London.
In 1999 she gave birth to Isabella and married her husband Robert, gaining at the same time a stepdaughter, Lujzka.
Two years later they moved to Spain where they currently live in a beautiful converted river mill.
The Zartarbia Tales are a series of seven children’s books, each one based around one of the seven deadly sins. All seven books are planned out with the second installment being released June 9th 2005.
