The Syndicate was a direct result of the Seven Deadly Sins invading Zartarbia. They controlled all that was dark, drawing on the weakness and fear in people. There were seven leaders of the Syndicate all powerful and totally ruthless. Nobody trusted anybody else. That was the nature of the power they possessed - the more they had, the more they craved; whatever the cost.
I shall describe to you briefly the members and which of the Seven Deadly Sins they are descended from. |
| Mistress Sectica SIN - PRIDE
She once owned the lands of Narcissimal and Tivany, enforcing her rule with an army of Gliders (zombie like creatures that were once children).
Her vanity destroyed her in Book 1, for those of you that have not read it, so she is now deceased. |

Oro Cazador SIN - GLUTTONY
He rules the lands of Glutonious and Segregaria.
A self indulgent man obsessed with acquiring rare and beautiful objects. He is used to getting his way at all costs and is one of the most forceful members of The Syndicate. He is one of the main characters in 'Isabella Zophie and the Sin of Gluttony' and you can meet him and his entourage in the Dining Room. |

He rules the Seas of Uncertainty.
Tempest is a pirate that roams his watery kingdom, priding himself on his brutal success in plundering and intimidating all who get in his way. |

Flores Abunda SIN - LUST
She reigns over The Forests of Longing.
Flores is a beautiful but dangerous creature, who can break a man's heart and drive him to the depths of despair with a single look. Nobody is immune to her deadly charms. |

| Espectro Underwelt (also known as the Lord of Undead Souls) SIN - WRATH
He controls the dark lands of Furioso and Petrifie, where sunlight never shines and the only lights are neon. He is the darkest of all the characters and all who meet him fear him. |

Fingimiento, The Painter SIN - GREED
He rules the lands of Avaricen and Excessiton with his armies of Transcenders (chameleon type creatures that can change shape and are often used as spies)
He is the most mysterious of The Syndicate members, who always wears masks so nobody knows what he really looks like. |

He lives in the city of Lethargical with his equally slovenly wife Luvie Opal, where they spend their time in the pursuit of pleasure. They also own the small land of Sumptitous.
A self styled soothsayer who was renowned for his laziness. He is a devious and sly character. |
