Excited children from across the borough packed into borders bookstore, Lakeside, last week eager to meet the author of the latest literary sensation.

Following in the footsteps of JK Rowling and her Harry Potter series, comes the mythical Zartarbia Tales, which is set in the previously uncorrupted paradise now threatened by dark forces.

The first book in this magical series is Isabella Zophie and Le Cirque de Magique, written by Ana Fischel.

Children were entertained at the store by costume actors and facepainting and were quick to snap up the collectable postcards and free bookmarks.
