It is not until later he discovers the locket and pieces of parchment have been slipped into his pocket. Auriel She is Mortensen's only daughter, who becomes embroiled in the battle between good and bad after she manages to enter Zartarbia. As she is a child, it is her innocence that activates the Locket of Fire and Water, therefore enabling her access to this strange world but it also places her in danger when she is forced by Teufel Alma to take seven deadly sins with her. Teufel Alma A criminal mastermind who is obsessed with dark magic and learns of the Locket's existence. He pursues the merchant and then Professor Mortensen and his daughter. His plan is to unleash the most evil elements of human nature in Zartarbia and to corrupt this innocent world. He wants to create a superhuman army of the most dangerous creatures possible and then, when they are strong enough, to bring them back to Earth and take over the world as we know it. It is he who creates the Box of Reversals, designed to counterbalance the other four elements conjured by the high priest to protect Zartarbia. When the Box of Reversals is combined with these other elements the owner of the box has the ability to gain complete control of Zartarbia and change the course of history, however the box by it's self has no power. |
