This organisation was set up after the Great Battle of Zartarbia to prevent the further spread of the Syndicate's evil power and to protect those who did not want to go over to the dark side, and is headed by Detective Valise.

One of their main aims is to free the rest of the oppressed states (those under the forcible rule of the Syndicate) but this is no easy task when the borderlines of lands are constantly shifting and changing shape).

The headquarters of the FADF are based in Securical, which is where the training of all agents takes place including the intricate art of Quing Chaitsu.

Quing Chaitsu is the martial art of not just physical combat but also of being able to read your opponent's thoughts and deepest fears whilst blocking them from reading yours.

 

 

The slightly pompous head of the FADF. A quirky character, who's office is a grandfather clock on the outside and a high-tech nerve centre on the inside. The walls of the office are huge screens that relay what is happening within the Free States so that they can always keep an eye on any potential attacks from the Syndicate. Valise is a highly intelligent man who suffers no fools. He is a hard taskmaster who oversees the complex training of his agents to the highest standards.

She is one of the FADF's most respected agents and though she is only 17, she is extremely accomplished. She is a strong, fearless character and when Isabella enters Zartarbia it is she who is assigned to protect her. The two quickly become firm friends.

She is a contrary fairy and also Valise's personal secretary. She is petulant and very child like, in as she sulks, stamps her feet and has temper tantrums if she does not get her own way.
